Could a simple flu shot give someone a neurological disorder?
Well according to Desiree Jennings it did.
Desiree was a healthy 25 year old who got the flu shot. However now seven weeks later, isn't doing so well with side effects consisting of involuntary body movements.
I remember back in college one of my professors in a health and disease class telling a story about a friend of getting a vaccination to go on a trip overseas, but had adverse reactions causing her muscles to stiffen that became permanent. A hefty price to pay for a trip now isn't it?
So are all vaccinations a gamble? To me it seems so, since you just never know how your body will react to a dead strain being injected into your body.
